Duct tape and warts

Duct tape is used by some people to combat warts.
Duct Tape More Effective than Cryotherapy for Warts

Yet, Wikipedia announces:

A medical study announced on major news networks on October 15, 2002, stated that application of duct tape can be used as an effective treatment for warts.6 This treatment is often called by the name duct tape occlusion therapy. A more recent study claimed to have debunked these findings, pointing out the original researchers didn't actually examine participants to determine if the warts were in fact gone, but instead phoned participants and asked.7 In the 2006 study of 103 children, duct tape did not perform significantly better than a placebo. It should be noted, however, that in this study, duct tape was applied just one night a week, rather than the intended six days a week.

My daughter Kelly swears by it, though, so I'd try it (if I had warts)

Turbo Squid and New Orleans

Thanks to Matt and Rebecca, I connected with a new work opportunity, with a very interesting company and great people... Turbo Squid www.turbosquid.com and www.gameflood.com.

The offshoot is that we are in transition, a family two-household move to New Orleans.

If you had told me a few months ago that I'd be moving to New Orleans, I would have said "yeah, right".

But here I am. And really enjoying it.

I find that people here are very open to conversing, a heartfelt connection, and will engage in a conversation that flows between work and personal topics for a longer time than I am used to. It is lovely. And I'm much enjoying the richness and diversity of the culture.

Happiness!
